Joint summitwas held attended by business advisor of Pakistan and provincial officers, merchants and traders of Ardabil province.
According to reports of Public Relationssection of Directorate-General of Economic and Financial Affairs of Ardabil province, Dr. Mozaffari Vice President of the Provincial Investment Services Center, while describing the advantages and preferences of investment in Ardabil province,mentioned:“Different regions of Ardabil province have the capacities and potentials for investment in the field of tourism, services, agriculture and industry. If foreign investors choose this province,the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iranguarantees their securitydirectly, registering a companyfor foreign nationals will be100% possible,and a three-year residence permit for investors, managers, foreign experts, and their first-degree relatives will be issued.”
Director General of Economic and Financial Affairs of the province addressed to the fact that foreign investors are treated equally as the domestic investors and there is the possibility to own land in the name of the company which is registered in Iran, and the transfer of capital and its profits, and the benefits of using capital in form of currency with commodity and indefinitely will be made possible.
While welcoming the Pakistani Business Advisor, he hoped that this meeting would led to presence of more Pakistani investors and businessmen in Ardabil province.
At the end, packages and clips related to the fields and investment potential in the province, study plans, pre-feasibility study plans, and priority plans were delivered to Pakistani business advisor in order to identify investment capacities in different regions of the province.
“In terms of gardening products and conversion industries, Ardabil has great potential and privileges in the field of exports and Pakistani businessmen and investors can have a good partnership and investment in this field.”Pakistani business adviser also said.
While pointing to the fact that transit, transportation, and currency barriers and restrictions should be eliminatedfor traders on both sides, Nazar Mohammad Ranjha expressed: “We are trying to hold joint public and specialized exhibitionsin Ardabil and Pakistan to provide a context for recognizing businessmen and investors of the two countries. In doing so, we can establish good business and economic relations by getting familiar with products and capabilities of each other.”
“We are looking for free trade relations between Iran and Pakistan andfor the time being, memorandum of understanding is signed between the two countries and in the near future good achievements will be provided for both sides,if it is finalized.”he said.
