Seventy-ninth meeting of Investment Services Center was held in Sheikh Safi Hall of the Ardabil Governorate, headed by Ardabil governor-general with the presence of the directors general, the formal and permanent representatives of the executive departments of the Center, as well as several investors in order to address the issues of investment applicants.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Directorate General of Economic and Financial Affairs of Ardabil Province, governor-general of Ardabil said in the meeting: “In order to expedite the process of investment measures, some circulars have been sent to the government to reform and modify them in order to witness more investors in the province.”
“Any investment at any part of the province will boost the economy and it is necessary to cooperate immediately with the investors to reach this end.” Engineer Behnam Joo added.
Head of the Ardabil Investment Services Center added: “Removing some of the redundant rules in the process of licensing investment and parallel commissions existing in executive departments should be examined.”
“Measures taken by Land and Natural Resources Affairs to make decision regarding national lands, known as the Samiyan plaque, should be described and reported.” Ardabil Governor added.
“How to issue building permits for agricultural projects outside the city limits and the range of villages should be decided and be investigated.” He continued.
According to the Director General of Economic and Financial Affairs and Finance of Ardabil province: “Recently a licensed was issued for a foreign investment in the field of the production of ethanol fuel which is at the stage of operation in Industrial Town with an investment rate of $ 2 million, a 90% physical advance, and 100% foreign participation. The other permit was also issued with a capital of 4 million euros to implement the 120,000-tonne full-automatic silo project which is registered in the investment system and the necessary steps have been taken. The second phase of this project will be accomplished with a capital of over 20 million euros in the field of potato processing.”
Dr. Mozaffari added: “the book titled “Ardabil Province At A Glance” has been published last month in four languages (Persian, Azeri, English, and Turkish) with the aim of introducing potentials, capacities, and investment capabilities in different economic sectors of the province to the investors and entrepreneurs.”
It is worth mentioning that problems of the 4 investment plans were examined at this meeting, while presenting the performance report of the Investment Services Center and the electronic system.
